Private server
Status and content of your polyodos-server instance — a server hosted on your own infrastructure, for projects that must not leave your walls.
Server status
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Offline | The server is not responding on this machine. Start it, then refresh. |
| Running (port N) | With the tenant and version of the instance |
The Search button relaunches detection; Refresh reloads the data.
What the page shows
Users
The accounts known to the private server, each with the number of projects it owns and the number of shared projects.
Projects hosted here
The projects whose data is actually stored on this private server.
Account's authorised projects
The access rights copied from the account at login, to allow offline work.
Two different lists
A project can appear in "authorised projects" without being hosted here: it then remains on the remote server and cannot be viewed offline. The Hosted here column (Yes / No) settles it.
Cached libraries
The libraries repatriated locally, with their slot, version, and last update date.
Limitations of private mode
Some private servers do not support packs — the page states this explicitly. Also, creating and updating a pack are not available from a project in private storage: only changing packs and using an already repatriated pack remain possible. See Library packs.
Encryption
The private server's library cache is encrypted (AES-256-GCM), with a key derived from a secret unique to this instance and never transmitted.
